Exit Running Background Applications
It is common knowledge that when you play music, activate and use a business application or a game can drastically drain the battery of your cell phone. What you don’t probably know is that when such applications are running at the background it can still drain your battery. This happens when you happen to be playing SUDUKO on your mobile phone and you get a phone call all of a sudden. What happens when you answer the call is that the SUDUKO game will not close but will run in the background even after you ended the call. The same goes with mobile applications such as a currency converter or a FOREX update application.
Long press the home application of your cell phone and check if there are any dormant background applications that are running. Always exit the game or application using the exit or end game option on the application menu. You can find cell phone number using this cell phone directory faster than browsing online wasting battery life.
Tone Down the Settings
You can considerably increase your battery life or save on your cell phone battery by adjusting the brightness your mobile phone’s screen. A mobile phone that is running in 40% brightness will have longer battery life than a mobile phone running on 50% or 60% brightness. You can also set the backlight timeout of your mobile phone screen to 20 seconds instead of the usual 2 minutes. Turning your phone into vibrate mode will also drastically drain the battery of your mobile phone so avoid using it as much as you can. Instead you can adjust your profile settings to ring mode or better yet, silent mode.
